PE-TRA is a family-owned company based in Europe. During all these years, priorities to innovation, leading technology and best manufacturing practices, guided the PETRA Machines through sustained growth in quality and functionality of its products. While being a small Company we have satisfied customers in many countries worldwide.

1986

Ivan Bric founded Ivan Bric s.p. in former Yugoslavia. In a market with limited access to imported equipment, the company specialized in developing practical and reliable custom-made machinery.

1992

The first bandsaw machine was built for in-house production.

1995

The first SRC machines and tools were developed for Akrapovič, including a tube bending machine that produced the company's first exhaust tubes and is today preserved as a museum exhibit.

1997

A patent was granted for a ski layer refurbishment machine.

1998

Aleš Bric joined the company.

2004

Petra Bric joined the company, and the business relocated to larger production facilities.

2005

Rudi Bric joined forces with his brother Ivan, and together they established PETRA Stroji d.o.o. The patented DC300 double-column bandsaw was introduced at the FormaTool Fair in Celje, while the DC300 and DC300A were presented at the EMO Exhibition in Hannover.

2008 Cooperation with AMTC began.
